Bernie Hopley

Bernie is a highly motivated IT professional with over 25 years experience in the IT industry. Bernie began his career as an electronics engineer gaining a diploma in electronics and initially working for a military systems company. Since then he has gained a diploma in IT and worked for a number IT Companies in the UK, training with IBM and HP before moving to Jersey in 1989.
Bernie ran his own business for a while and subsequently spent four years as a Director of another Jersey based IT Company before joining Alternative Solutions as the manager of the Jersey Office. Bernie is also qualified to teach in further education and teaches IT part time at the local college.
Bernie enjoys trying to reduce his golf handicap, spends time at the gym and helps out coaching a local football team.
